JUNIOR RIFLE MEMBERSHIP
Attention Junior Rifle Participants (and other interested parties) :
Download and complete (with Notary) forms Jr. CMP Affivdavit and Jr. Consent and bring them to the January or July Program.
The Junior Rifle Program consists of a format based on NRA marksmanship qualification program. Junior shooters will be required to attend the January course for sign-ups and an introductory safety briefing.
Attendance will be
required at the introductory meeting for participation at future
programs throughout the year. Anyone who does not attend
the Introductory Program in July will not be allowed to
participate until the next Introductory Program once per year
after that. Because the program follows sequential
instruction, advancements and achievements, shooters skills
and experience will develop from month to month, therefore
participants will not be permitted to just show up and
shoot on an occasional basis. Participants with
excessive absences will be dropped from the roster and required
to re-enter the program at the next Introductory Program.
Participants with a commitment to the program will be rewarded
with awards and recognition at each level of advancement through
the structured NRA program. At the end of each year
(October), dedicated participants will be invited to compete on
our Clubs Junior Rifle Team. Our team will compete
against other Junior Clubs in the NRA Smallbore Postal
Matches. There will be an annual sign up fee of $10 per
participant to help cover basic supplies and a monthly match fee
of $1.00 to help cover basic ammunition costs. The Club
will be sponsoring the remaining costs in support of the Junior
Rifle Program. It will be an exciting year and we hope all
interested youth will attend.
